Studdoo Workflow Guide

Learn how to connect your local ComfyUI pipelines, configure control nodes, and automate your cinematic production workflow.

1. How Studdoo Works

Studdoo is the workspace that manages your projects, scenes, prompts, and generated media. ComfyUI remains the AI generation engine running locally on your computer.

You build and test your workflows in ComfyUI, then make the workflow Studdoo-compatible once. After that, Studdoo can control the workflow for you.

The basic Studdoo pipeline
Create / prepare workflow in ComfyUI
Export workflow as API JSON
Import workflow into Studdoo
Create your scene
Generate image
Review and accept image
Generate video from accepted image

2. One-Time Technical Workflow Setup

Studdoo needs to know which workflow inputs it is allowed to control. If these controls are not connected correctly, Studdoo cannot automatically change things such as prompt, size, duration, or seed.

Important

Do not rename random nodes in your workflow. The Studdoo control nodes are the bridge between Studdoo and ComfyUI.

Image workflow controls

StuddooImagePrompt
Studdoo_Width
Studdoo_Height
Studdoo_Seed

Video workflow controls

StuddooVideoPrompt
Studdoo_Width
Studdoo_Height
Studdoo_Duration
Studdoo_Seed

3. Build and Test Your Workflow in ComfyUI

You can use your own workflow or a workflow downloaded from somewhere else. Build the workflow in ComfyUI first and make sure it works before importing it into Studdoo.

The workflow generates an image/video correctly
The prompt input is connected to the Studdoo prompt control
Width and height are connected where required
Seed is connected
Duration is connected for video workflows
The image-to-video workflow accepts an input image
The workflow has been tested directly inside ComfyUI
